Bishops Cleeve 0 - 1 Windsor & Eton
BGB Div 1 South & West | Wednesday 22nd April 2009
ADVANTAGE WINDSOR
Matt Seedel It's advantage Windsor & Eton for 2nd place going into the final day of the season following a 1-0 win away at Bishops Cleeve.

Matt Seedel scored the only goal from the penalty spot leaving Windsor needing only a draw in their final league game to guarantee second place.

The match itself was hardly awe inspiring with a lacklustre first half.

The best chance of the half fell to Richard Mansell who hit the bar after Windsor failed to deal with Ben Gascoyne's long throw.

The second half was much the same but mid-way through the half Windsor were handed the chance to take control of the game when Gareth Hopkins was judged to have brought down Ben Porter.

Referee Smart didn't give the spot kick straight away but a strong signal from his assistant changed his mind.

Matt Seedel stepped up and converted his third spot kick in as many games.

Cleeve came close to pulling level in the later stages of the match when Rob Bullivant did well to keep out Sam Avery's point blank header.
