| DEFEAT MAKES IT TIGHT FOR 2ND |
Windsor & Eton have made the race for 2nd place a tight affair following a 2-1 home defeat against Uxbridge.
Matt Seedel struck a second half penalty but not before first half goals from Lee Tunnell and Dave Warner gave Uxbridge the win.
Uxbridge started the game well with Windsor not really making an impact.
Dave Warner's came close when his cross came back off the bar and then it was his shot that deflected off Lee Tunnell to give the visitors the lead.
Windsor had a chance to draw level when Mark Weedon headed Paul Coyne's corner wide and shortly after lost the services of Michael Chennells who limped off.
Minutes after losing Chennells Uxbridge doubled their lead when Dave Warner latched onto a loose ball and raced through to slot past Bullivant.
The second half saw Windsor up their game and soon pull a goal back when Bruce Wilson's cross struck the arm of Gavin Brown earning Windsor a penalty.
Matt Seedel stepped up and calmly slotted the spot kick past Matt Burton.
They should have drawn level mid-way through the half when a poor clearance by Brown fell into the path of Ashley Vine who's shot over after the ball bobbled off the surface.
Windsor pushed forward and a flurry of Paul Coyne corners almost saw Ryan Wharton put the ball in his own net closely followed by Steve Butler having a header saved.
