Windsor & Eton had to settle for a 2-2 draw at home to Gosport Borough.
Justin Bennett gave Gosport the lead and eventually equalised before Matt Seedel levelled from the spot and Michael Chennells put Windsor ahead.
Windsor showed a marked improvement following the weekend trip to Cirencester and soon came close to taking the lead.
Andrew Fagan created space in the area only to force Nicholas Hutchins into a good save.
Pul Coyne then curled an effort from the edge of the area just wide of the upright.
But, in the later stages of the half it was the visitors that took the lead.
Windsor failed to clear a free kick allowing Bennett to volley in at the far post.
That lead lasted only a couple of minutes as Windsor were soon awarded a penalty after Thomas Chapman handled Paul Coyne's free kick.
Matt Seedel stepped up and calmly placed the ball past Hutchins.
Windsor came very close to taking the lead just before half time when Mark Cooper's header from Coyne's free kick was well saved.
They did manage to get ahead just after half time when another Coyne free kick was knocked across the goal by Seedel where Chennells slammed the ball over the line.
Chennells then had a few chances to put the game beyond doubt but was twice
denied by saves from Hutcins.
Into the closing minutes and it was Gosport making a final push and snatching an equaliser.
Bennett picked the ball up in midfield and ran at the Windsor defence before firing past Rob Bullivant.
It could have been all three points for Gosport but a superb save by Bullivant from Daniel Thompson ensured the points were shared.
