| POOR PERFORMANCE MEANS DEFEAT FOR ROYALISTS |
A well below par performance from Windsor & Eton saw them go down 3-1 away at Cirencester Town.
Matt Williams and Scott Griffin put Ciren 2 up by half time with Griffin adding a second before Ben Porter pulled one back.
With less than ten minutes gone Windsor found themselves behind Matt Williams knocked the ball over the line after Rob Bullivant had bundled over trying to claim a cross.
Ciren doubled their lead mid-way through the half when Scott Griffin reacted quickest after Robert Dean's free kick came back off the post.
Michael Chennells came close at the other end minutes later when he put the ball wide after Andrew Fagan's flick on from a free kick.
The second half started the same as the first and Windsor were soon three goals down.
A cross from the left seemed to be easy pickings for Steve Butler but he lost the ball in the sun allowing Griffin to hit his second of the match.
Keith Scott made a triple change just before the hour in an attempt to rescue the match but all they could muster was a late consolation goal when Ben Porter got through and slotted past Tom King.
