Windsor & Eton put last weeks defeat behind them to close the gap at the top of the table beating leaders AFC Totton 2-1 at Stag Meadow.
Martin Williams put Windsor 2 up with goals in either half with Mark Osman pulling one back for the visitors.
The match had barley got started when Windsor took the lead through Williams.
Bruce Wilson's free kick was headed across goal by Michael Chennells and Williams nipped in at the far post to slot the bal in the net.
Totton came close to levelling the score only a few minutes later when Mike Gosney's free kick eluded everyone and clipped the outside of the post, something that he would do several time during the half.
Half way through the half Windsor were forced into an early change when a collision between Ryan Parsons and Bruce Wilson left both players with cuts to the head and Parsons requiring hospital treatment.
The second half saw Windsor again strike early through Williams and double their lead.
Rob Bullivant's long kick bounced over Anthony Lloyd and Williams out-muscled Ian Richardson before helping the ball past Gareth Barfoot.
The match would have been sewn up just a couple of minutes later when Barfoot did well to save from Ben Porter following a cross from Joe Chandiram.
Just short of the hour, Totton set the match up for a nervy finish when Mark Osman broke through and slotted past Bullivant.
Totton came close to grabbing an equaliser in the closing minutes when Gosney was left unmarked in the box and denied by a last ditch block by Steve Butler and Andrew Fagan.
