Windsor & Eton put their weekend Trophy defeat out of their minds to progress in the GX Cup with a 2-1 extra time win away at Aylesbury United.
Matt Butler gave the Ducks an early lead before Ben Porter equalised with Michael Chennells hitting the winner.
It took Butler just 10 minutes to undo Windsor when he hit a long range effort past Chico Ramos.
Despite the early goal chances were few and far between during the opening half with Windsor having the slight edge.
Ben Porter came very close to pulling things level when he bent an effort over the bar after being put trough by Matt Seedel.
Porter faired better just before half time when a perfectly placed ball from Paul Coyne sent Porter on his way and he slotted the ball under Jack Sillitoe's body.
The start of the second half saw Porter almost add a second when he looped an effort over the bar, albeit more luck than judgement.
Chances were again thin on the ground but the action went from end to end as both defences did their respective jobs.
With extra time required it looked, in the opening minute, as if the home side might just get themselves back in front when Ross Taylor headed against the bar and then his follow up was headed over by Steve Butler.
From that moment Windsor took control and pushed on for the win.
Michael Chennells broke through and managed to round Sillitoe before calmly rolling the ball into the net.
Chennells could have had two more but was first denied by Sillitoe as he tried to go round him and then having beaten the keeper rolled the ball across the goal line.
Aylesbury tried to find a way through but thanks to a fine point blank
save from Chico Ramos in the final minutes Windsor held on to make the draw for the next round.
