| ROYALISTS HELD AGAIN |
Windsor & Eton had yet another victory snatched from them this time drawing 1-1 at home to Cinderford Town.
Michael Chennells gave Windsor a first half lead with Scott Griffin hitting back in the second half.
Windsor started well agianst a big Cinderford side who seemed content with playing long balls all day long.
Despite being on top it took Windsor until mid-way through the half before they managed to get in front.
The Cinderford defence failed to get the ball clear allowing Chennells to pounce and fire past Matt Bath.
Minutes later Martn Williams came close to doubling the lead when he headed Joe Chandirams cross wide.
Cinderfords first real chance came mid-way through the second half when Steve Cowe's free kick was headed down by Neil Griffiths for Griffin who's shot was well saved by Rob Bullivant.
Windsor then went straight up the other end and Andrew Fagan's deflected cross looked to have set Chennells up for his second of the game but he headed over.
As quick as Windsor broke, Cinderford did the same with Matthew Hearne bursting down the wing and crossing for Griffin to steer the ball into the net.
Windsor, having already been denied a stonewall penalty, almost got the victory they deserved in injury when Chandiram got down the left and crossed for Matt Seedel who's effort was bound for the botom corner untill Griffiths managed the slightest deflection onto the post.
