Windsor & Eton racked up a welcome win with a 1-0 victory at home against Didcot Town.
Ben Porter scored the only goal of the game early in the first half to secure a victory that will hopefully kick start the remainder of Windsor's season.
Both sides had early opportunities to take an early lead with Christopher Webb denying Matt Seedel and Sam Mazurek pulling of a superb save to deny Jack King.
Webb could do nothing about Ben Porter's effort after 15 minutes when a long ball from Mark Burgess and neat passing between Seedel and Porter made space for the Windsor striker to fire past the keeper.
Mazurek did well again midway through the half to deny King again with another good save.
Didcot got off to a good start in the second half with a couple of early chances.
Firstly Mazurek did well to keep out Matthew King and then when he came to collect the ball he was bundled over allowing Richard Witt to strike the loose ball only for it to be deflected wide.
Michael Chennels was twice unlucky not to finish the game off when his effort's from Jon Henry-Hayden cross'.
From then the match fizzled out and the cards started to flow as Windsor had to compete with 5 nail biting minutes of injury time.
