It was one of those days for Windsor & Eton as they went down 3-2 away at Bracknell Town.
Graham Lewis and Mark Anderson gave the home side the lead at half time after Dave Tilbury had put Windsor ahead only for Anderson to add a second after the break with Matt Seedel bagging a penalty late on.
Windsor almost got off the the worst start possible when, straight from kick off, Mark Burgess tried to chest the ball back to Sam Mazurek only to let in Ben Edwards who's cross was turned onto the post by Mark Anderson.
Just second later Damien Smith broke through and crossed for Graham Lewis who sent the ball wide.
Windsor then came close when Matt Seedel crossed for Ben Porter but his header was well saved and the rebound was almost put into his own net by Jorden Oldham.
Will Dunlop then had a header well saved we he got on the end of Paul Coyne's free kick, with all this happening in the opening 5 minutes.
Lewis had another effort well saved by Mazurek and at the other end Neil Baker forced his own keeper into a great save when he headed Porter's cross goal wards.
From the resulting corner Windsor got themselves ahead. Porters corner went straight through to Seedel at the far post and he sent the ball back into the area where it was met by the diving head of Dave Tilbury.
The lead last a matter of seconds as straight from the kick off Jamie McClurg got down the right and crossed for Lewis to grab a simple tap in.
Windsor had the referee's assistant to thank for not going further behind when referee blew up for a foul on Edwards by Tilbury and awarded a penalty only to find that Edwards was offside and the free kick went Windsor's way.
Bracknell did take the lead on 25 minutes when Edwards again got down the right and this time his cross was headed on by Mark Anderson.
It went from bad to worse for Windsor minutes before half time when Tilbury was sent off for bringing down Lewis, despite Lewis himself having pulled down Dunlop in order to get through.
A poor start to the second half saw Anderson get his second of the game when he knocked in Lewis' cross and could have had a hat-trick a minute later when he got on the end of an Edwards cross only for Mazurek to save.
Windsor made changes to try and get back into the game but their seemed no way back until the final minutes.
For some reason Damien Smith decided to slap Ricci Dolan across the face in the penalty area leaving the referee no option but to send Smith off and award a penalty.
Seedel calmly despatched the penalty to set up a tense finish to the game which almost ended as a draw.
Windsor keeper Mazurek decided to go up for a final Coyne free kick and rose above the Bracknell defence to send the ball over the keeper towards the far post and Porter managed to get his head to it only for it to come back off the bar and cleared to safety.
