Former Royalist Dominic White came back to haunt his old side as he helped Burnham beat them 2-0 at Stag Meadow.

White struck after just 7 minutes with Stuart Swift adding a second in first half injury time.

Windsor failed to get started in a match where they were favourites to do better.

With just seven minutes on the clock failure to deal with a Burnham corner allowed Dominic White to slam a shot past Sam Mazurek.

Rob Saunders then headed Darryl Jones' cross against the post before Mazurek did well to deny Leon Yarnie.

Burnham doubled their lead in first half injury time when Stuart Swift struck a free kick from just outside the area past Mazurek.

Into the second half and Burnham were denied a third goal that would have put the game well and truly beyond Windsor's reach.

Stuart Swift played in Usif Bangura who only had Mazurek to beat but he was unable to put the ball past the Windsor keeper.

Yarnie should have sewn the game up for the visitors with 15 minutes left when he was left in front of an open goal by substitute John Swift but shot over the bar from 3 yards.
