Windsor & Eton safely progressed to the quarter finals of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup with a 1-0 win at home against Marlow.
Jon Case struck early in the 1st half to set his side up with a home quarter final tie against Maidenhead United.
Case put his side ahead after just 11 minutes after a mistake in the Marlow defence allowed the Windsor wide mane to break through and slot past Ian MacTaggart.
It was thanks to MacTaggart that Windsor were not two goals up a couple of minutes later when he did very well to save a Paul Coyne long range effort and then the follow up from Stuart Tanfield.
Marlow had a penalty appeal turned down after Marien Ifura seemed to clip Jermaine Roche with the Marlow front man having already beaten Sam Mazurek.
Into the second half and Matt Seedel should have killed the game off when he struck Tanfield's inch perfect cross over the bar.
Ifura denied Roche for a second time, this time clearing off the line after he had beaten off Mark Cooper and Jamie Furmage.
And Cook and Ben Porter both had headers well saved by MacTaggart but neither team were able to add to the scoreline.
