It was a case of honours even at Hunts Copes as neither side could find the net in Windsor & Eton's 0-0 draw away at Swindon Supermarine.
Despite the number of chances and Windsor's recent flurry of goals they could not make their chances pay.
The first half should have seen Windsor take a comfortable lead despite the home side having the lion's share of the possession.
For all their time on the ball, Swindon failed to carve out a genuine attempt on goal other than a couple of speculative shots that were easily dealt with by Sam Mazurek.
Windsor, on the other hand, made more use of their limited time on the ball with Matt Seedel twice heading over from very close range.
Seedel then saw another effort well saved by Tom King and Ben Porters follow up effort met the same fate.
Michael Chennels hit the upright which was shortly followed by a deflected effort that King did well to turn over.
The start of second half saw Windsor continue to push for an opener but when Porter's effort was pushed away by King and follow up efforts from Chennels and Seedel were both blocked you could tell it was going to be one of those nights.
Swindon started to get closer and closer to that elusive first goal with substitute Josh Jeffries hitting the side netting.
Jeffries, Chris Taylor and Ian McSherry all came close with headers just wide or over but neither club could get the goal they craved.
