Simon Lane had to be content with as point as his side drew 1-1 away at Winchester City.
Ben Porter had given Windsor an early lead but this was cancelled out by a Mark Gamble strike shortly before half time.
Windsor were hoping to get off to a flyer and build on their 4 match unbeaten run, but that almost went horribly wrong.
Mark Gamble was able to cross from the left allowing Jamie Musselwhite to get in a header which Sam Mazurek tipped onto the bar.
Windsor had better luck down the other end and made Winchester pay for a terrible defensive blunder.
Both Dave Hook and David Goss came for the ball along with Windsor's Ben Porter. Goss and Hook collided leaving them both on the floor and the ball hit Porter and rolled into the net.
The home side could have got back into it when Musselwhite got through the defence, but his shot sailed wide.
Windsor's failure to kill off a game came back to haunt them as no sooner had Matt Seedel seen his effort well saved by Hook, Winchester were lining up their equaliser.
Peter Smith's corner was headed on by Mark Jones and steered into the goal by Mark Gamble.
The second half was a relatively dull affair with little goalmouth action.
The only real chance fell to Lloyd Webber who smashed Gambles cross wide of the post.
