JARVIS OFF AS ROYALISTS LOSE

Windsor & Eton's relegation battle is all but over after a 2-1 defeat away at Harrow Borough.

Lee Holsgrove had given Windsor and early lead with Brian Haule and Steve Dogbe netting for Harrow in a match that also saw Jamie Jarvis sent off.

It was a perfect start for Windsor as they got themselves ahead in the opening few minutes.

Spencer Walsh's free kick was headed down to Gavin Tomlin by Lee Holsgrove. Tomlin's effort was blocked and Holsgrove did enough to turn the ball over the line.

Harrow pulled level in bizarre curcumstances when the referee awarded a penlaty for a supposed shirt pull. There was no appeal from arrow players and supporter alike but t was still given.

Brian Haule stepped up and managed to squeeze the ball past Kieronn Drake.

Minutes later, still seething from the officials earlier decision, Jamie Jarvis made his feeling known to the assistant referee which resulted in him being shown the red card.

Despite being a man down Windsor still looked the better side and were rightfully upset to be going in a goal down at half time.

A long throw was only cleared to Steve Dogbe on the edge of the area and he riffled ito the bottom corner.

The second half came and went with no goals but both sides had a chance to change the outcome of the match.

Peter Holsgrove had his effort well saved by Karamoko and Daniel McGonigle fired over from close range for the home side.
