WINDSOR SUNK BY STONES

Despite good performances in their previous two matches, Windsor & Eton failed to make it three wins in a row going down 3-0 at home to Wealdstone.

A goal in each half from Francino Francis and a third from Gary Burrell condemed Windsor to their 23rd defeat of the season.

Gavin Tomlin Should Have Scored For Windsor
Gavin Tomlin Should Have Scored For Windsor

It could't have been a worst start for Windsor as just 20 seconds into the game Francino Francis broke through and opened the scoring for Wealdstone.

Despite this early setback Windsor went on to dominate he first half with Gavin Tomlin having two one on one efforts saved by Lee Carroll and third went wide.

On the stroke of half time Matt Miller headed onto the cross bar from a Luke Hickie corner but Windsor went in looking the better side despite the scoreline.

If the first half had gone in the favour of the home side then the second definetly went the way of the visitors.

Twenty minutes in and Windsor seemed to hit the self distruct button and the good work from the past tw games went straight out the window.

Francis managed to get through the home defence before slotting past Drake and not three minutes later Gary Burrell did the same.

Francis should have completed his hat-trick in injury time when he was left with only Drake to beat but the Windsor stopper pulled of a great save from a point blank effort.
