FIRST AWAY WIN GIVES WINDSOR HOPE
Windsor & Eton finally recorded their first away win of the season beating East Thurrock Utd 2-0.
New signing Gavin Tomlin struck twice in the first half to secure the points for Windsor in their bid to hold off relegation.

Gavin Tomlin Struck Twice For Windsor
Windsor manager Dave Carroll made four changes from the side that lost at the weekend with Lee Holsgrove, Chris Cahill, Gavin Tomlin and James Edgerley replacing Spencer Walsh, Paul Coyne, Jon Case and Emond Protain.
Despite an early Svott Holding free kick which was well saved by Kieron Drake, Windsor were well in control of the first half thanks to some poor football from the home side.
Adam Wallace and Gavin Tomlin caused problems for the home defence throughout the game and combined on several occasions to create some very good chances.
It was a Wallace effort that almost let in Tomlin but he was unable to get enough on the bll to turn it in.
Dave Warner then had an effort that fell for Tomlin and this time it was Wallace who tried to poke the ball in but again it went wide of the goal.
This threesome was starting to look very effective and when Warner found Wallace he set up Tomlin but the resuly was the same as before.
The second half was more of the same with Tomlin, Wallace and Warner casing all the problems.
Chances came and wnet with the best falling to Tomlin with Chris Cahill sending him through and the Windsor striker almost managed to loop his header over Danny Knowles.
Windsor finally got the goal they had been treatening when Warner fed the ball though to Wallace and his cross was met by an unmarked Tomlin who slotted past Knowles.
Windsor kept up the pressure and secured the points in injury time when Tomlin made the most of East Thurrock pushing for an equaliser and raced clear of the defence.
Substaitute Wess Faulkner gave chase but it was all in vain as Tomlin slotted the ball past Knowles.
