Windsor & Eton's final hope of silverware went out the window when they were beaten 1-0 away at Harrow Borough.

A singal Daniel Dyer goal in the second half was enough to put Windsor out.

Early chances feel the way of Windsor when both John Bacon and Peter Holsgrove were denied by Gary Ross.

An injury to Will Dunlop forced Dave Carroll into an early change bringing on Danny Smart. The Windsor defender was later diagnosed with suspected knee ligament damage.

Windsor continued as the dominant team of the half but could not make any of he eir chances pay off.

They were almost made to regret their misses when Daniel McGonicle's cross led to a goalmouth scramble and efforts from James Bent and Rumain Le Roux were cleared off the line.

Despite all of Windsor's hard work in the first half it was Harrow who took the lead in the second.

Le Roux's free kick was played to the edge of the area where it was met by Daniel Dyer who shot through a crowd of players and past Kieron Drake.

Both sides had to be content with half chances for the rest of the half until the dying moments.

Ryan Spencer sent the ball into the area where Adam Wallace was somehow denied by Ross.

From the resulting Paul Holsgrove corner Wallace was again denied when his effort was cleared off the line.
