ROYALISTS BEATEN BY LEADERS

League leaders Hampton & Richmond inflicted another defeat onto Windsor & Eton beating the 4-0 at the Beveree Stadium.

Despite being a goal down Windsor always looked in the game until Jamie Jarvis was sent off late on.

Both sides spent the opening 20 minutes feeling each other out with both coming close to taking the lead.

First Matt Elverson's effort was cleared off the line by Will Dunlop and then John Bacon was denied when Matt Lovett managed to get his leg to the ball.

Eventually Hammpton took the lead when Elverson was allowed to head in Elliott Godfrey's corner.

Windsor started brightly in the second half and should have pulled level.

Adam Wallace managed to find Paul Coyne on the right and when the Windsor midfielder crossed Ryan Spencer sent the ball just wide of the post.

The turning point of the game came on 74 minutes when Jamie Jarvis was shown a red card to the surprise of both the home and away fans.

Jarvis and the Windsor bench were shocked when he was dismissed after Steve Sodje ran into Jarvis while the Windsor defender was clearing the ball.

From then the floodgates opened and Elliott Godfrey soon made it two with a low drive.

Godfrey's free kick moments later lead to a third when Kieron Drake failed to hold on to the ball and substitute Andy Morley nipped in.

Another substitute, Jon Henry-Hayden, added a fourth on full time after being allowed to run through.
