Windsor were looking to build on there midweek win but they got to the worst start possible.

A foul on Steve Butler by Adam Wallace earned the visitors a free kick that was taken by Barry Moore and headed goalwards by Wes Daly and then tipped wide by Kieron Drake.

Daly took the resulting corner which was headed in by Matt York.

Both sides battled it out and Windsor came so close to levelling the scores.

Paul Holsgrove played in Adam Wallace who shrugged of one defender before curling a shot past Andy Little which looked as if it was in until it cameoff the insie of the post.

Minutes later the game was over for Windsor when Lee Kersey's attempted back header let in Richard Butler who rounded drake before slotting into the net.

Seconds after the restart AFC added their third from the penalty spot when Will Dunlop up-ended Richard Butler and Dwayne Plummer scored from the spot.

Just before half time Wallace had an effort tipped round the post but the half belonged to the visitors.

The second half was no different to the first with Wimbledon dominating from start to finish.

Richard Butler played the ball out to Michael Harvey on the left hand side who crossed for Butler to head in his second of the game.

Drake was on hand to keep the score from increasing when first he kept out Harvey and then saved York's point blank header, but the game and the points belonged to AFC Wimbledon.
