HOLSGROVE OFF AS WINDSOR PROGRESS
Windsor & Eton progressed to the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win away at Brentwood Town.
Goals from David Warner and Paul Holsgrove put Windsor in front with Hussein Isa pulling one back for Brentwood.

Peter Holsgrove Saw Red
Windsor got off to a quick start and chances from David Warner and Adam Wallace forced keeper Chris Clark into early action.
The early pressure paid off and nineteen minutes in Windsor too the lead.
Peter Holsgrove's well timed ball into Wallace allowed the Windsor striker to find his partner Warner who turned and shot low past Clark.
It was clear that although he had been beaten once that Clark would be the difference between a respectable and heavy defeat.
He did well to keep out Warner's effort after he had beaten both Nicky Savidge and Chris Neville for pace leaving him one on one.
Warner was a constant threat to the Brentwood defence but he was unable to get the better of Clark as he had earlier.
A save by Clark from a Warner effort late on in the first half spilled nicley for Craig Lewington who blasted his effort over the bar.
Clark continued in the second half as he had in first by frustrating the Windsor forwards.
Peter Holsgrove tried an effort from the edge of the area which was funbled by Clark but he managed to recover before Warner got to the ball.
Clark was however unable to deal with the effort that doubled the visitors lead.
Paul Holsgrove started the move that saw the ball make its way out to the right hand side to brother Peter. He then managed to get a cross in which found Paul and volleyed in.
Brentwood suddenly found another gear in the closing fifteen minutes and a foul on Lee Noble by Lee Kersey gave them a great opportunity to get back into the game.
Lance McDowell stepped up to take the kick which took a deflection of fthe wall and went just over the bar.
A moment later another free kick in almost the same place saw Hussein Isa step up this time and he managed to beat Kieron Drake to half the defecite.
Isa could have levelled it when a mis-kick put him one on one with Drake, only for the Windsor keeper to save.
With the referee's watch running deep into injury time and the game all but won for Windsor there was one last piece of drama.
Ricki Makin had run the shielded the ball out for a goal kick, closely pursued by Peter Holsgrove, and for some reason Holsgrove decided to hit Mackin from behind giving the referee no choice but to send him off.
