ROYALISTS HALT CITY
Windsor & Eton put a stop on Chelmsford City's hopes of reaching the play-offs with a goalless draw at Stag Meadow.
With no goals and limited chances it was a combination of some good saves from both keepers that kept both sides in the game.

Chuck Martini Kept His Second Clean Sheet In As Many Games
With Windsor playing for safety and Chelsford playing for promotion the eagerness of both sides seemed to cancel each other out, but the visitors did manage a couple of good early chances.
Alex Fiddes volleyed just wide of the post and was closley followed by another wide effort from Julian Edwards.
Windsor's best chance came when Adam Crittenden showed his pace down the left and his cros was headed on by Joe Nartey allowing David Warner to get off an overhead kick which was defelected wide.
There ws still time in the first half for a Chuck Martini 'special'. His scuffed clearance fell kindly for Gary Cross one the edge of the area and returned the ball with power forcing a wonder save out of Martini.
The pressure seemed to be getting to Windsor as more mistakes became evident.
Brahim Eloumani's poor clearance allowed Julian Edwards to cross to Yohance Lewis but his shot was well saved by Martini.
Lewis came close again when his free kick was somehow deflected wide by the Windsor defence, a little more luck than judgement.
Substitute Gary Ansell then hit the post from 25 yards out with a well driven shot. Julian Edwards tried to follow up but was flaged off side.
Windsor managed one last effort when Morgaro Gomis, who has done superbly since returning, managed to pick out Peter Holsgrove. His shot was blocked and when David Warner came rushing in his effort was blocked by Paul Nicholls.
This may have not been the most enjoyable game to watch but it's another point closer to safety that manager Dave Carroll is looking for.
