Both sides spent the opening minutes getting to grips with the less the level playing surface and it wasn't until 15 minutes had passed that any real opportunity was taken.

Paul Holsgroves free kick was only cleared as far as brother Peter who headed the ball back into the box and Dave Tilbury tried an over head kick that was only just wide of the post.

A few minutes late and Windsor were to lose one of their most influential players when Belal Aiteouakrim had to be stretchered off the pith when he badly twisted his ankle.

Windsor rode the intermitent pressure applied by the vsitors and efforts from Matt Murphy, Matt Seedel and Leigh Mason were easily dealt with.

As the half progressed it was becoming more apparent that Windsor's missed chances would come back to haunt them.

Both Peter Holsgrove and Brahim Eloumani shot over with efforts that they should have got on target at least.

Slough didn't get a real chance until first half injury time when Leigh Mason was allowed to get through the defence before shooting with Michael Barima blocking on the line.

Any idea's that Windsor manager Dave Carroll had that his side might just nick something from the match went straight out the window inthe first five minutes of the second half.

Michael Murphy's free kick was sent high into the Windsor area were Matt Murphy rose above Justin Skinner to head past Chuck Martini.

Minutes later one became two when Ryan Parsons brought down Mason in the corner. Michael Murphy again took the kick and once again Matt Murphy was able to head past Martini.

Matt Seedel added a third thanks to Mason's run into the box setting Seedel up with and easy finish.

Matt Murphy put the game well and truly beyond Windsor when he completed his hat-trick form the penalty spot.

Mason had again been allowed to get through the defence and a rash challenge from Dominic White earned Slough the spot kick which Murphy put past Martini.
