Windsor & Eton finally stopped there run of five straight defeats holding Wealdstone to a 1-1 draw at the White Lion Ground.

Peter Holsgrove's first minute strike was later cancelled out by Jermaine Beckford mid-way through the half.

With three new signings all playing a part in the match, Dave Carroll signaled his intentions that he would make any necessary changes to get his side back on track.

The match couldn't have started any better for Windsor with a long clearance from Paul Holsgrove fell favourably for Joe Nartey and Fabian Forde who raced clear and Nartey shot at Andy Carter and the rebound fell for Peter Holsgrove who shot in.

Windsor spent most of the remainder of the match under pressure and although for the majority of that they kept the ball out of the net it seemed only a matter of time before they would concede.

Wealdstone came close when Paul Holsgrove turned the ball past Martini's post and they finally took the lead on the half hour.

Martini's goal kick went straight to Martin Carter and his header split Jamie Jarvis and Dave Tilbury allowing Jermaine Beckford to run through and round Martini before scoring.

There was no let up on the second half as Wealdstone looked for that elusive second goal.

It almost came when Paul Holsgrove stopped expecting an off-side flag allowing Beckford to run through shooting wide of the goal.

The referee started to get a bit card happy booking five Windsor players in twenty minutes, even if three of those were for arguing.

Wealdstone also found themselves in the book with Richard Morton getting himself sent off for foul and abusive language after being fouled by Lee Holsgrove.

The Wealdstone bench were also being reported for 'not behaving in a responsible manner' after reaction to the dismissal. Mr Atkin needed two stewards to escort him from the pitch through the melee of supporters that had been screaming abuse at him.
