NEW BOSS SUFFERS DEFEAT

His first game in charge may have ended in a 2-0 defeatat ome to Worthing, but Dave Carroll has a lot to look forward to.

Jones Awuah scored in each half to secure the visitors would be going home happier side.

Game Ended In Defeat

After all the midweek upheaval involving the change of manager Windsor were looking to show that they weren't phased by the situation and get their new boss a early Christmas present.

It was Carroll who alost got the ball rolling when his free kick was only cleared to Paul Holsgrove who volleyed only for his effort to be deflected for a corner.

It wasn't the most interesting of games with both sides seeming happy to just battle it out in the midfield and try any half chance when the ball broke for them.

That situation almost paid off for Worthing when Mark Knee caught Dave Tilbury napping and beat him to the ball and his cross was just inches from Jones Awuah.

Awuah had better luck just tebn minutes later when a ccross that should have been easy for the Windsor defence was left for the Worthing striker to put past Ademola Bankole.

After the half time break Windsor again started with prupose but couldn't make their chances count.

Their best effort came when Carroll created space to cross for Peter Holsgrove who's header was well saved.

Awuah added his second just before the hour when he connected with a Ronnie Green cross.
