ROYALISTS SUFFER ANOTHER LOSS

It was another bad night for the Royalists as they went down 3-1 at home to Cheshunt.

Guy Ekwalla gave Windsor a first half lead before Steve Wales and Leon Archer won it for the visitors.

The match nearly never got started with the Cheshunt team coach stuck on the M25, but when it finally kicked off an hour late it was Windsor taking control.

An early run through by Peter Holsgrove was brought to a crashing end when Steve Wales took him down, but only a corner given.

The opening goal came mid-way through the half when good build up play from a Dave Carroll free kick allowed Paul Holsgrove to slot in Guy Ekwalla who beat Russell Lng for his first Windsor & Eton goal.

Terry O'Connor had an effort pushed onto the bar and Peter Holsgrove shot wide after a defensive mixup. The second half was a different story and Chehunt were level within 8 minutes of the restart.

A Steve Obeng long ball put in Chris Bangura who ran into the box. Martini held back from collecting the ball having dislocated his shoulder moments before and then brought down Bangura.

Steve Wales stepped up and burried the spot kick.

Despite being able to use just one arm Chuck seemed to be getting on alright, pulling off a combination of very good saves.

Windsor looked as if they would hold on but two late goals from Leon Archer put the game beyond the home side.
