FIRST HOME DEFEAT FOR ROYALISTS
Windsor & Eton suffered their first home defeat going down 2-1 against Braintree Town at Stag Meadow.
Braintree took a first half lead through Alex Ravell with Paul Holsgrove equalising before Louis Riddle grabbed the winner.

Paul Holsgrove Chalked Up Another Goal But It Wasn't Enough
With the weather conditions less than favourable the match was looking in doubt, not due to the state of the pitch but the fact that the lines were being washed away.
Match day announcer Brian Whale was on hand to re-mark the lines to enable the match to go ahead.
Windsor enjoyed the better of the opening exchanges and looked the most likely to take an early lead.
Paul Holsgrove set Ryan Peters on his way but the Windsor striker could only find the legs of Danny Gay.
Justin Skinner had an effort tipped over the bar by Gay when he got on the end of a Dave Carroll free kick.
Peter Holsgrove then volleyed wide after Lee Kersey's ball was to him by Ollie Adedeji.
Braintree started to creep forward and it looked like a totally unmarked Alex Ravell was going to send his side in front when he got on the end of Steve Good's cross but sent the ball over.
It was Braintree that did take the lead when a Windsor attack broke down allowing Louie Evans to break and cross for Ravell to slot in.
Windsor were almost level just a couple of minutes later with a Dave Carroll free kick being parried out by Gay and eventually cleared by Billy Burgess.
Dennis Greene was lucky not to have seen his side reduced to ten men when Paul Cook kicked out at Louis Riddle but only received a caution.
They did lose Justin Skinner just before half time with a gash to his head caused by the knee of Ravell.
Windsor started the second half the way they started the first, with plenty of pressure on the Braintree defence.
Ryan Peters beat Burgess for pace and cut the ball back to Morgaro Gomis who in turn for Guy Ekwalla who's shot was well saved.
The substitutions of James Cox and Lewis Cook for Brahim Eloumani and Ryan Peters saw Paul Holsgrove pushed up to partner his brother Peter, and it soon paid off.
Ekwalla cleared from deep inside his own half and Paul Holsgrove flicked onto Peter.
Peter Holsgrove played into Ekwalla who returned the ball to Peter Holsgrove who then found his brother Paul to slot past Gay.
For all Windsor's hard work throughout the match, they would ultimately find themselves behind again.
A foul on James Baker by Dave Tilbury earned Braintree a free kick which was rolled to Louis Riddle by Adedeji and fired past Martini.
Peter Holsgrove came very close with a long range effort in injury time but it wasn't enough to prevent Windsor's first home defeat.
