ROYALISTS HELD BY MARLOW

A poor performance saw Windsor & Eton throw away two points as they could only manage a goalless draw at home to Marlow.

Windsor weren't helped with the fact they had to do without Keith Scott who may miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee against Met Police at the weekend.

Windsor took their time in getting started and when they did they managed to carve some worthwhile opportunities.

Matt Brady collected a Ryan Parsons thrown and then crossed to Kieran Gallagher. His lay off found Lee Roache who's shot was well saved.

Gallagher was on hand moments later to set up Tony Reid, but his header was pushed away by Kieron Drake.

Brady came very close to giving Windsor a half time lead when a quick free kick from Dave Carroll gave him space to shoot but the ball went wide.

Although the action in the Windsor goal was relatively quiet, Marlow almost took the lead when a corner was scrambled away just off the line.

The second half didn't get any better as chances for Gomis and Brady were easily dealt with by Drake.

The points were almost snatched right at the death when first the returning Leigh Rosier hit the bar with a header from a Dave Carroll free kick.

Then, another Carroll free kick was met by Dave Tilbury but his header was deflected just past the post.
