BRADY'S BACK TO SEE OFF CASUALS

Dennis Greene saw his side re-take top spot in the league after a 1-0 win at home against Corinthian Casuals.

A single Matt Brady goal in the first half was enough to his side the points.

Brady Strike Won The Points For Windsor

Windsor went into the game missing four of their first team regulars with Jason Cousins, Kieran Gallagher and Craig O'Connor all suspended and Jemraine Lowe suffering from flu. This meant starts for Junior Jones, Matt Brady, Terry O'Connor and Jamie Furmage.

The personel changes didn't seem to effect Windsor dominating the possesion but there did seem to be something missing.

Windsor should have been ahead within five minutes when Jamie Keith failed to connect with a Leon Townely clearance and Junior Jones ran in forcing Chris Roberts to tip the ball round the post.

They had to wait until the 39th minute for their next chance and this time they made it pay.

Dave Carroll set off down the right and seemed to cross towards Kieth Scott and Junior jones. They both left the ball and it finally came to Matt Brady who blasted an effort past Chris Roberts for the lead.

Windsor stepped things up in the second half with Brahim Eloumani and Spencer Walsh coming very close to increasing the lead.

Eloumani had two chances, the first was just knocked away straight to Walsh who struck from just outside the area hitting the post.

Eloumani's second was a well struck effort from around 35 yards out that was only inches from the post.

Corinthians tried to find a leveller in the last ten minutes and came very close when a header from Iain Waghorn had Chuck Martini scrambling to see it past his post.

They were then denied by a very well timed tackle from substitute Leigh Rosier after Jamie Byatt had somehow got clear in the Windsor box.

There was even a short run out for manager Dennis Greene before the end and maybe he could have sealed the points when his effort was well held by Chris Roberts.
