ROYALISTS EARN REPLAY

Windsor & Eton managed to keep their FA Trophy dreams alive earning a replay after drawing 2-2 at home against Enfield.

Craig O'Connor opened the scoring with Junior Jones equalising after Dwight Marshall and Jeff Hammonds had put the visitors ahead.

Both sides had early chances with Jeff Hammonds heading into the arms of Chuck Martini and Craig O'Connor trying an ambitious volley which James Courtnage caught easily.

He didn't, however, manage to get hold of O'Connor's next attempt. Dave Carroll's ball eluded the Enfield defence allowing O'Connor to shoot from the left hand side of the area to give Windsor the lead.

The lead lasted only a couple of minutes when Lee Endersby's pass set Dwight Marshall clear, rounding Martini before scoring.

Enfield were in front within minutes of equalising. Leigh Rosier tried to head the ball back to Martini who was then bundled over by Marshall allowing Hammonds an easy finish.

Kieren Gallagher came close to leveling the score when he hit a Ryan Parsons cross into the side netting.

After the break Windsor started to create more chances and got themselves on top of the game.

Keith Scott fired just over the bar after latching onto a Jamie Furmage pass.

Kieran Gallagher then had a shot blocked on the line after latching onto a header by Keith Scott.

Junior Jones was brought on to replace Jamie Furmage, and it took the Windsor striker just five minutes to level the scores.

Matt Brady's quick free kick wasn't cleared and when the ball finally fell for Jones he fired it into the net.

Craig O'Connor came within inches of winning the match in injury time when Keith Scott headed Dave Carroll's corner onto the bar and O'Connor's shot was blocked on the line.
