ROYALISTS DUMPED OUT OF CUP

Windsor & Eton were dumped out of the Berks & Bucks Cup after being beaten 5-0 at home to Maidenhead Utd.

Paul Kelly opened the scoring with Lawrence Yaku getting a hat-trick before Adrian Allen added the fifth.

Windsor were without Leon Townley, Ryan Parsons (cup tied), Jamie Furmage (holiday), Dave Tilbury (suspension), their first choice defence.

With less than two minutes on the clock Maidenhead took the lead when Paul Kelly's free kick too a deflection off the Windsor wall and into the net.

The lead was doubled five minutes later when Lawrence Yaku was left to run in and shoot past Bunting.

Windsor's already weakened defence was left in disarray when they lost Michael Murphy to a hamstring injury with just half an hour played.

The start of the second half was no better than the first when Yaku got his second after Dave Carroll had let the ball run through.

Maidenhead's fourth came after some much needed Windsor pressure.

Dave Carroll's corner was turned goalwards by Craig O'Connor and blocked on the line by Obi Ulasi and put behind for another corner.

The second corner was cleared to Matty James who knocked the ball back in and Leigh Rosier's flick was headed on by Kieren Adams and tipped over by Richard Barnard.

Carroll's next corner was then cleared and Yaku broke away again and put past Bunting for his hat-trick.

Yaku was later replaced by Adrian Allen and he picked up where the Maidenhead striker had finished.

Allen managed to break down the left and squeeze a shot past Bunting.
