ROYALISTS LOSE TO INJURY TIME SHOCKERS

Two goals in injury time condemned Windsor & Eton to their third successive defeat.

Ryan Gray struck first and then Andre Robinson put the result beyond doubt for Whyteleafe.

Neither team could create anything substantial in the opening 45 minutes as both midfields battled it out.

The only chance of the half fell to Ryan Gray for Whyteleafe.

Gray connected with a Peter Garland cross. Trevor Bunting got a hand on the shot and with the ball still rolling goalwards Matthew James manages to clear off the line.

Whyteleafe kept up the pressure in the second half and were unlucky not to take the lead when Andre Robinson has his effort saved by Bunting.

Dan Mountain started to look as if he might provide a spark to ignite Windsor. He managed to create space for a shot that went just past the post. Kieren Adams came close when keeper Danny Rose misjudged the bounce and the ball went over his head, but when Adams got to the ball he was unable to find a Windsor shirt with his cross.

The killer blows came deep into injury time.

Graham Bett smashed the ball clear and Ryan Gray raced to beat Matthew James and then Bunting.

The second came the same way. Dave Carroll's free kick was cleared and Andre Robinson beat both Trevor Bunting and Julian Renner-Thomas to head the ball in.
