PROMOTION RACE STILL ON
Windsor & Eton's promotion aspirations continued after a well deserved 3-0 win away at Ashford Town.
First half goals from Kieren Adams and Shaun Dyke along with a late goal from Craig O'Connor secured the points for the visitors.

Makeshift Striker Kieren Adams Got Windsor Underway
Windsor got off to a flying start when a ball over the top of the Ashford defence from Dave Carroll was volleyed past Tony Wells by Kieren Adams after just two minutes.
Carroll then came close himself when he slammed over from a Shaun Dyke cross.
Dyke did manage to double his sides lead on 10 minutes when he managed to get past Russell Canderton and then lift the ball over the head of Wells and into the goal.
Kieren Adams and Matt Brady had opportunities to make it three when they got involved in a goalmouth scramble which ended when Wells just palmed round the post.
Adams, playing as a makeshift striker, should of and could of got himself a hat-trick and when he got past Steve Coxford the Ashford defender did well to recover and deflect Adams' shot wide.
Dave Tilbury came close late on in the half when he headed a Dave Carroll corner over the bar.
The second half saw changes by both sides.
For the home side Matt Jordan came on for Andy Frost and for Windsor Matt Brady and Dave Carroll were replaced by Craig O'Connor and Rob Saunders.
Windsor continued to dominate the play and even had help from the Ashford defence.
Paul Thornton tried to put the ball out but only managed a 25 yard effort that went just past the post. This was something any striker would have been proud of.
Between them, O'Connor and Dyke caused the Ashford defence all sorts of problems and should have made more of their opportunities. Both players came close to converting several chances.
Ashford were limited to a minimal number of chances. Their best fell to Richard Butler who shot way over the bar from close range.
Craig O'Connor made sure there was no way back for Ashford when he tapped in a rebound from a Shaun Dyke shot.
