GREENE: DEFINITELY TWO POINTS LOST

ROYALISTS’ boss Dennis Greene believes the side that is reknowned for scoring goals were lucky to even get a point from his side on Saturday.
Windsor & Eton added three new players to their line-up prior to the match with Lewes in goalkeeper Steve Williams, Rob Saunders and Julian Renner-Thomas.
Greene....Should have walked away with all the points
He is also due to sign Tony Reid from Lewes. But it was the second half goalkeeping of former Wycombe man Williams that helped keep Lewes off the scoresheet.
But Greene was disappointed with the draw.
He said: “It was a good result for them. We dominated the first half and we really should have been four or five goals ahead.
“But they changed things in the second half and their manager said it was the first time they have had to change their system to accommodate a team.
“It was definitely two points lost for us.”
Once again Greene described the problem as ‘not taking our chances’, something that has been blamed for results not going his side’s way in the past.
But the bright side is the dominant half of Windsor & Eton at the moment. Dave Carroll and Leon Townley have both bedded themselves down in the team and the latest out-field duo of Renner-Thomas and Saunders should prove worthy additions.
