Royalists Suffer First Defeat

Windsor & Eton suffered their first defeat of pre-season going down 4-1 against Blue Square Bet South Maidenhead United.

With key players missing more trialists were brought in but it was always going to be a tough match.

It took Maidenhead just 15 minutes to get ahead when Alec Wall managed tofire past Chris Baker.

It wasn't until the hour mark that the visitors struck again when skipper Ashley Nicholls turned the ball past Baker.

Kieron Knight then struck twice in quick succession before Windsor grabbed a consolation goal.

Reserve team striker Geoff Nalumoso grabbed his opportunity when presented with the ball at his feet in the Maidenhead box.
