The young Royalists entertained Burnham last night and extended there unbeaten run to 5 games. The game was played on a difficult pitch with both teams trying to play.
Once the Royalists had settle down they began to play and were looking dangerous on the attack. Good driving runs from midfield from Ben Brown and Lewis Fogarty resulted in good chances missed.

The first goal came from a set piece, a superb delivery from Matty Clarke was headed home by Ben Brown, more chances came and went before Brown Stepped up to strike home his second of the match. Ben was then booked for retaliation after it appeared he had been fouled.
Burnham were playing some good football and looked very strong up front and were testing our young defence, who held firm .
Half Time 2 - 0 .
The second half was played out fairly evenly with both teams unable to really test the respective keepers. Lewis Fogarty continued to drive the Royalists on even delivering 60 yard passes. Ben Brown completed his eventful evening by taking a knock on his right foot which leaves him a doubt for Mondays game.
There was still time to give all 3 subs some game time, as two games in three days next week against the top two teams in the league will be a real test for the team.
