| WINDSOR BACK TO WINNING WAYS |
Windsor & Eton put two consecutive defeats behind them by bouncing back with a 1-0 win away at Taunton Town. The first half was largely un-eventful until the later stages when James Courtnage slipped as Alexis Piper got through only for David Woozley to slide in a clear the ball. Woozley then came close at the other end when he got his head onto Bruce Wilson's cross only for it to go just wide of the post. The start of the second half saw Windsor take the lead when Taunton failed to get the ball clear allowing Wilson to find Joe Chandiram who hit a shot across Lloyd Irish and into the net. John Harris almost produced an equaliser just minutes later when his effort flew across the Windsor goal. Late on Courtnage did well to keep out substitute Lee Hawkins' effort from the edge of the area. |
