Mangotsfield United 0 - 4 Windsor & Eton
Zamaretto Div 1 South & West | Saturday 31st October 2009
HALLOWEEN HORROR SHOW FOR MANGOS
Victor Osobu Windsor & Eton returned to the top of the Zamaretto Division 1 South & West following a 4-0 win away at Mangotsfield United.

Manager Keith Scott was forced into three changes with Rob Bullivant, Steve Butler and Steve Dell all unavailable.

An early chance for Mangotsfield fell to Dan Spill who struck a shot from the edge of the box and was well saved by McNeill.

From then on it was all Windsor and were denied a penalty when Marcus Richardson was floored by Tony Court, but the home keeper came off worse.

On 15 minutes Windsor took deserved lead when a poor goal kick from Jack Allward went straight to Victor Osobu who slid the ball through to Michael Chennells who made no mistake in beating Court.

The lead was soon doubled when Osobu raced through and slotted past Court.

Adam Dickens then forced Court into a fine save before Marcus Richardson raced through only to be denied by Court.

The second half saw Windsor come out and inflict more pressure on their hosts.

Osobu showed his immense pace by leaving the entire Mangotsfield left side trailing behind him but fortunately for the home side there was no on in the box to connect with his cross.

Ryan Wharton then ran from the edge of his own area to the edge of the Mangotsfield box and played the ball through to Osobu who sent the ball across goal and Richardson shot over.

Chennells then forced Court to tip the ball round the post and from the resulting Dickens corner Chennells flicked the ball on for Richardson to score his first Windsor goal.

If that hadn't put the game out of reach for Mangotsfield then it would be 10 minutes later.

Matt Seedel set Osobu on his way and the new Windsor striker capped a superb performance for the Royalists.

Adam Wallace should have added a fifth when he connected with Joe Chandiram's cross and Osobu should have completed a hat-trick in injury time.
