ROYALISTS HELD AT PAULTON
Scott Thomas Windsor & Eton continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 0-0 draw away at Paulton Rovers.

A lack of chances for both sides preserved the Royalists good start leaving only themselves and VT FC unbeaten so far.

A good start for Windsor was them go close twice in the opening few minutes when two free kicks from Bruce Wilson lead to headers from Andrew Fagan and Steve Butler being saved.

Paultons best chance of the half came in the closing minutes when Charlie Rich sent the ball just past the post.

Jake Parsons forced a great save out of Luke Purnell at the start of the second half when the winger cut in from the right and shot from the corner of the area.

Neikell Plummer then went close at the other end after being put through only to be denied by Rob Bullivant.

As the game came to a close Windsor pushed forward and almost came away with all the points when Scott Thomas shot from outside the area only for the ball to come back off the inside of the post.
