Zamaretto Div 1 South & West | Saturday 5th September 2009
ROYALISTS FAIL TO CROSS THE BRIDGE
Marcus Richardson Windsor & Eton remain unbeaten following a 1-1 draw at home to Bridgwater Town.

After a slow start Windsor got themselves in front When Marcus Richardson crossed from the right and Mat Pitcher turn the ball into his own net under pressure from Michael Chennells.

Windsor them lost the services of Chennells, last seasons top scorer, when he limped off with a hamstring injury.

The second half saw Town back into the match and on 52 minutes levelled when Windsor failed to deal with Steve Orchards corner allowing Marcus Duharty to bundle the ball over the line.

Town keeper Sam Hutchings kept his side in the match when he saved well from Richardson.

Windsor should have wrapped up all the points midway through the second half when Andrew Fagan headed Jake Parson’s free kick against the post.
