Andy Shed scored in both halves to make it three wins out of three with Steve Butler netting an own goal for Yate.

This gave starts to recent signings Ryan Wharton, Scott Thomas and Andy Shed.

It would be one of those new signings, Shed, that would net a decisive early strike to give the Royalists the lead.

Steve Dell's long thrown found Shed in space and he fired through a crowd of players and past Lee Matthews.

The lead should have been doubled soon after when good build up play saw Shed's cross cut out by Marc Hughes.

From the resulting Scott Thomas corner Andrew Fagan headed the ball just over the bar.

Matt Seedel then missed two headers the first from a Ryan Parsons cross and the second from a Bruce Wilson free kick.

There was no let up in the second half as Windsor pushed on to increase their lead and came very close when Ryan Wharton headed Thomas' corner into the ground and just over the bar.

The lead was doubled on the hour when Windsor broke away following a Yate Town corner.

A quick throw from Bullivant to Wilson found Shed and his cross field ball set Thomas on his way to cross which was missed by Seedel and bundled over by Shed.

Yate came very close to pulling a goal back mid-way through the half when Joe White got his head to Zayne Simpson's free kick but it was cleared off the line by Ryan Parsons with Bullivant saving the follow up effort.
