Windsor won this match at a canter and in truth the scoreline doesn't truly reflect the efforts of the Royalist's strikers who wreaked havoc on the visitors defence.
In the end a pinpoint Williams' header and a superb goal from Chennels were enough to secure the points and keep the push for promotion alive.
Abingdon had started well and forced Brown to save twice early on, firstly in an early scramble and then from a long effort from the wing but Windsor slowly gained control. A spectacular Chennels run ended with the striker hitting the upright after beating everyone, before the same striker had an effort brilliantly pushed past the post by the keeper.
Porter and Butler headed wide from corners and Porter was unable to finish from 12 yards out when the ball fell to him, as he and Chandiram got in each others way.
The scores were level at the break despite the home sides ascendancy and Williams headed home Porter's freekick for the first of the afternoon, directing his header away from the keeper and into the bottom corner.
The points were secured when Chennels latched on to a Goodhram through ball and neatly lobbed the keeper ending his recent goal drought. Seedel and Porter both had chances to add to Windsor's tally but in the end two goals were enough to dispatch Abingdon who rarely threatened all afternoon.
