Windsor's promotion push suffered a stumble as they were forced to rescue a point for a second successive draw despite dominating for all but 10 minutes.
The visitors had started strongly, putting pressure on Gosport's resolute back line. A Chandiram cross was just over the head of Chennels and moments later the Windsor striker crossed for Seedel who was again unable to make a good contact on his header. When Seedel tried to get the ball at the second attempt, Brown punched the ball out well from under his own cross bar, with his huge frame rising above every other player.
Windsor took the lead when O'Connor played in Seedel who took a touch before slipping the ball past the on-rushing Brown.
Seedel then played in Chennels but he shot across goal with no real threat. With the Royalists defence holding firm against long-ball tactics, Gosport's forwards were forced to shoot from long distance before Mazurek was out quickly to save with his feet and thwart the danger.
On the break of half time, Seedel's quick footwork opened up some space but his shot was deflected into the arms of the goalkeeper.
Windsor continued to be the dominant side in the second half with Chennels missing a hat trick of chances. Firstly he side-footed wide from a Chandiram cut-back before he raced on to a through ball and despite beating the keeper could only watch as the ball rolled agonisingly wide.
His third chance game when the ball fell to the feet of Butler in the box, who laid the ball across to Windsor's hit-man, but Brown produced a splendid reaction save to stop Chennels' shot.
Windsor were ultimately made to pay the price for missed opportunities and after some neat play on the left wing the ball was fired across the box to Bennett, who smashed the ball home to level the scoring.
The home side clearly had the visitors rattled and started to dominate for a short period, which was rounded off by Bennett scoring his, and Gosport's second. A cross from the right was met by Gosport's top scored who powered his header into the net with Mazurek completely stranded to give the home side the lead.
It wasn't to last however, as Windsor pushed forwards in search of an equaliser, and in the dying minutes Seedel was on hand to provide it. After collecting the ball 12 yards out, he turned and squeezed the ball past the keeper and just inside the post for his second of the game.
A point was very much deserved for Keith Scott's Royalists but once again they will be disappointed at a failure to convert opportunities.
