The Event

Windsor & Eton take on League 1 side Wycombe Wanderers in a pre-season friendly with a host of former stars that have played for both sides in attendance.

Peter Taylor has confirmed that his promotion winning Division One side Wycombe Wanderers will visit Stag Meadow the following Wednesday the 22nd July for a 7.30 p.m. kick off.

To celebrate the long standing connection between the 2 clubs, former Wycombe and Windsor legends, Dave Carroll, Jason Cousins, Simon Garner, Matt Brady and Dennis Greene along with current management duo Keith Scott and Jim Melvin complete the,’magnificent 7’ former Chairboys; who will be presented to the crowd before the game by Windsor’s Club President and BBC broadcasting legend Barry Davies.

Royalists’ boss Keith Scott said, “I am delighted that we have been able to attract such prestigious opposition to Stag Meadow, which is in many respects a testament to the success achieved by the team last season. These fixtures give the players a fantastic incentive to come back to preseason in great shape and provide the perfect opportunity for them to show what they are capable of against professional opposition, as well as being a great reward for the fans that provided such fantastic support throughout the whole of last season.”

Free Entry For Armed Forces:- Members of the Armed Forces stationed at Victoria and Combermere Barracks will now be able to gain free entry into all Windsor &E ton FC home league matches.

Free Entry For Under 16's:- Children under the age of 16 can now gain free entry into all Windsor & Eton home league matches when accompanied by a full paying adult.
